Bull to handle an uprated Vauxhall

Motor Sport News - - Racing News -

Castle Combe GT champion Oliver Bull has upgraded his Vauxhall Tigra Silhouette 1998 for an assault on the championship this season.

Bull claimed the GT title in 2015 in the same year that he switched to racing the Tigra, built by his uncle and longtime Combe man Jeremy Irwin, having previously competed in National Fford.

The car had for the past two seasons been powered by a Ford Duratec engine, but will use a 2.3-litre Ecoboost engine in 2017 through Ford’s UK agents Power torque and also run an uprated Quaife gearbox – changes Bull hopes will allow him to compete for the title once again.
