Pearcey ready for Belgian challenge
Yorkshire Ford Escort Mk2 driver Tim Pearcey and his Scottish co-driver Neil Shanks will bid for a podium finish on this weekend’s Boucles de Bastogne in Belgium, the biggest historic stage rally in Europe.
“My first attempt in 2015 was blighted by punctures on the winter tyres the rally forces used to use,” said Pearcey. “Last year with Louis Louka we ran as high as second overall to Markko Martin until a number of problems dropped us to fifth at the finish.”
Other UK competitors include Ben Mellors, Paul Griffiths and Andrew Siddall. The event also features Bernard Munster, Thierry Neuville and Patrick Snijers.
