Rallyme owner John Goff is offering the free rent of a Junior Formula 1000-spec car for 2017.

Goff will run the Citroen C1 and provide tuition to a chosen driver, who will be selected in a shootout at Rallyme’s test airfield.

Goff said: “Would you believe it, I’ve only had one reply so far. I was a bit shocked that nobody bit my hand off.

“The car was built 12 months ago for a customer who never used it, it’s a brand new build. It’s been sat there and never turned a wheel. It’s a junior car and I can afford for someone to use it for the year, as long as it doesn’t cost me a fortune.

“I don’t mind running the car. They’ll have to cover any bodywork damage.

“I’ll even look after tuition too. I don’t want any money, I’m too old for that now.”

Goff has helped a number of young drivers progress in the sport, actively fielding cars in grassroots motorsport. His team currently fields three cars in the Motorsport News Circuit Rally Championship.
