Crosby and Pul­lan look to land back-to-back Rally of the Tests wins

For­mer For­mula 3000 team man­ager Paul Crosby and co-driver Andy Pul­lan will bid to re­peat their 2017 vic­tory on the Rally of the Tests when this year’s rally starts in Har­ro­gate on Thurs­day evening.

The Porsche 356 of Crosby and Pul­lan is among a 90-car en­try for one of the tough­est UK clas­sic ral­lies as the route runs from Har­ro­gate to Bris­tol via mid-wales.

Crosby worked for March En­gi­neer­ing, Dave Price and Ed­die Jor­dan in F3000 in the late 1980s and early 1990s.

Af­ter Thurs­day evening’s pro­logue in York­shire, crews face three long days be­fore the Sun­day af­ter­noon fin­ish in Bris­tol. The route takes in 30 spe­cial tests and 17 reg­u­lar­ity sec­tions in an event that recre­ates the RAC Ral­lies of the 1950s. The overnight halts will be at Sut­ton Cold­field on Fri­day and Newport on Satur­day. En­tries fea­ture cars up to the early 1980s, but the main awards are for pre ’68 cars.
