Ferretti 780
Ferretti’s big news will be the launch of the 780 flybridge. There’s an appealing simplicity to its sleek lines along with some lovely details like the long curve that slashes through the saloon glazing and windscreen to meet the deck structure.
There’s plenty on board to enjoy, too. A lot of thought has gone into the design of the transom where a split ‘tailgate’ opens to reveal a storage space for a tender but the two sections also fold down to reveal a pair of comfortable sunpads.
The flybridge has been left reasonably free for the owner to choose their preferred layout and furniture.
It’s a boat designed to please many markets, hence the reason for three different saloon layouts, two open plan and one with an enclosed galley, and the option to replace the master ensuite with a below-deck entertaining space.
The standard layout includes four ensuites with a generous master at its centre. This is open to both the bathroom and walk-in wardrobe to increase the feeling of space.
Ferretti will also be launching its 920 at Cannes, a bona fide mini superyacht with a main-deck master.
