Fusion Sound-panel

Funky new speaker looks and sounds the business

Motorboat & Yachting - - Newtech -

Boat speakers come in all sorts of designs and styles, but the one thing that they all seem to have in common is that they’re all round. Until now.

Fusion’s RV-FS402 Sound-panel is a rectangular shallow-mount 200W dual speaker system. The idea is to create a single easy-to-install unit with minimum space requirements, and to that end, it will flush mount on to a panel and require just 41mm of depth. Spacers reduce that depth even further, or it can be surface mounted. Featuring two 4in speakers, tweeters and a passive bass radiator, it’s available in black or white and is engineered to IP65 standards, which means it’s waterproof even from low-pressure jets. This makes it ideal for cockpit mounting, although we think it’s attractive enough to be positioned in a cabin too. It can be used as a centre speaker for a surroundsound system, or as a stand-alone speaker for an AV or music system where space is limited. Contact www.fusion entertainment.com
