Businessman selling fake motorcycle helmets imprisoned
A businessman selling fake bike helmets so weak that full impact tests could not be completed in case the test equipment was damaged has been sentenced to six months in jail.
Moortaza Walji, 55, from Peterborough, a director of BargainworldUK, was sentenced at Peterborough Crown Court. He was also fined £182,091 and ordered to carry out 180 hours of unpaid work.
