The Stafford show gets a ‘restoration’
A new element will make its debut at October’s Carole Nash Classic Motorcycle Mechanics Show as organisers introduce the Restoration Theatre.
The attraction was first run at the sister event in April this year, and its popularity has seen it continued for autumn’s upcoming weekend, one of the biggest on the classic calendar.
Held in one of the side buildings of the main hall, the live event is hosted by Pete Thorne from ITV’s The Motorbike Show, and sees several presentations taking place throughout the day on a range of restoration and maintenance topics.
Four sessions on each day will cover electrical systems, the do’s and don’ts of restoration, top end overhauls and an open-floor question and answer discussion.
All sessions are part of the show and so there is no additional charge to attend. All the times are listed here in the Show Guide as part of the timetable on page 37.
Pete Thorne will be guiding showgoers through various technical elements with live demonstrations.
