Not all happy faces at Honda

Motorcycle News (UK) - - Sport -

It might have been a successful test for Marc Marquez at Qatar, but not everything was rosy in the Repsol Honda garage, as team-mate Dani Pedrosa continues to drift in the doldrums with his 2016 machine.

Struggling to find anything positive to say about their progress in the test, a terse Pedrosa admitted to MCN that they were nowhere near as prepared as the other side of the pit box.

ÒWE didnõt find any progress. We didnõt have many tyres left so we couldnõt do much testing on the final day and I finished earlier than usual. Unfortunately the conclusions are not entirely satisfactory.

Òover the three days we have tried to test a lot of things, but there are still some ideas that we want to apply the next time we are on track.

Òwith the data obtained in the last few tests, the technicians in Japan will work to try to make some changes ahead of the first Grand Prix at Qatar. Weõll see if they are favourable, and if we can get better performance for the race.ó
