No electronics woes for Ducati

While many of their factory rivals have struggled, Ducati have had no issues in making the switch to the new electronics and control software.

Taking the strategic move last season of moving the satellite bikes over to the new electronics before they became mandatory, Ducati Corse boss Dall’igna told MCN that it’s left them with a big head start on their rivals in that respect.

“Frankly speaking, I’m happy with the software. The job we did over the last few years with our satellite teams means we’ve reached a good compromise already. On the tyres point of view, we still have some work to do but we have to improve, but for sure, the feeling that we have with the new software is really good, and I think we can manage for the entire race now.”
