SEASON PREVIEW ANDREA IANNONE
With a strong first year as a factory rider under his belt in 2015 and a strong preseason so far in 2016, it’s hard to imagine that the Italian factory will be out to replace Andrea Iannone for next season.
If he can continue in the early part of the season the way he raced last year, with only six finishes outside the top six to his name, it’s hard to see a rush to secure the services of another rider – unless, that is, a shock move from someone like Lorenzo to the team upsets the apple cart. Even then, though, with Iannone most likely drawing the smaller salary from Ducati, it’s seems more probable that it would be his more experienced (and, importantly, more expensive) team-mate Dovizioso getting the boot.
