Had an incredible change of fortunes in Argentina, after months of bad luck was turned around with the damp conditions for Sunday’s Moto3 race. With the power deficit on the Peugeot-branded Mahindra machine negated by conditions, he was able to move from 28th on the grip to finish seventh, after passing an amazing 17 people on the opening lap!

Bradley Smith

Was disappointed after missing out on the potential to capitalise on his rivals’ misfortunes after making the uncharacteristic step of making radical geometry changes to the Tech 3 Yamaha ahead of the race. The change was in the wrong direction, leaving him with difficult-to-manage bikes for the entire 20 laps but he still took useful points thanks to an eighth-place finish.

Danny Kent

Qualified well and had top ten potential but was caught out by the weather in the Moto2 race, with the reigning Moto3 champion taking to track for the first time in damp conditions on the Leopard Kalex machine and finding virtually no feeling from the bike at all. Kent eventually finished the race just outside the points in 16th place.
