JG SPEEDFIT KAWASAKI

2016 will be James Ellison’s third year with the JG Speedfit Kawasaki squad. The 35-year-old is happy with the team but he is hoping for a change of fortune.

“I am desperate to win this title and we can still do it,” he says. “That’s why I’ve stayed with the team. The only thing that has ever let us down are injuries; it is never the bike or the team. They have stuck by me through the hard times and I feel that this is the team I can win with.”

A broken leg in a horror crash at Brands in 2014 and a smashed wrist at Thruxton last season have destroyed his last two title challenges but a third place finish in last year’s title race epitomises
