Sheene’s story to hit BIG screen

A movie about Barry Sheene’s in­cred­i­ble life is cur­rently in pro­duc­tion and is ten­ta­tively set to be re­leased in the sec­ond half of 2017. Sheene will be a full drama­tised ver­sion of the mo­tor­cy­cling leg­end’s ex­tra­or­di­nary life and the pro­duc­ers are promis­ing that only ‘A-list’ stars and an ‘A-list’ di­rec­tor will be in­volved in the project.

The film is a British/aus­tralian co-pro­duc­tion be­tween Deep Springs Pic­tures and I.O Films AU and will be based on Steve Par­rish and Nick Harris’ 2007 book ‘Barry: The Story of Mo­tor­cy­cling Leg­end Barry Sheene.’
