YEAR OF THE BAR

The sizzling summer of 1976 saw the crafty cockney take on the world’s best 500 GP riders... and win! In this special celebration of a brilliant racer and a brilliant man, we talk to the people who were there at the time to get unique insight into that special year. We also take a look at the bike that took him to the title and talk to his son Freddie. And while Barry may be gone, his memory and his legacy live on.
