North of England – Heavenly riding country
When the sun shines on the Dales, there’s no finer place to ride a bike. The best way to see this amazing landscape is on two wheels. This route starts from the charming North Yorkshire town of Richmond, slicing down over the spectacular Buttertubs Pass to Hawes and into Ribbledale. It heads out of Yorkshire, for lunch in Kendal before scrambling up the Pennines to Middleton-in-teesdale in the high fells.
