– Lochs to see in Scotland
Scotland has some of the finest riding roads in Europe but you don’t have to head to the West Coast or the Highlands for a great ride. There are amazing roads within easy reach of the central belt of cities, with quiet and wild scenery – and lochs galore as well.
Heading out from Falkirk, this route climbs the Duke’s Pass on its way to Loch Katrine, before heading out, past Loch Earn and Loch Tay, to Loch Rannoch.
If you have time, the ride out to Rannoch Station is well worth it, before the route loops back through Blairgowrie and Crieff.
