Q World Ducati Week Q £75 for a three-day pass for rider, £50 for pillion Q July 1-3 Q Misano Circuit, italy Q www.ducati.com The World Ducati Week ( WDW) is a huge three-day event aimed at Ducati riders from all over the world and this year is an extra-special one as it will mark 90 years since Ducati was first established. Not only are there thousands of bikes congregating at the Misano Motogp circuit but there are competitions for the best customised Ducatis on show, riding tours around the beautiful local area and all of the Ducati racing stars are flown in to meet the fans.
Normally there is some kind of race on Ducati road bikes featuring the Ducati track stars. There’s a chance to ride on the Misano track and Ducati staff (from the CEO and down) are on hand to cook a giant barbeque for Ducatisti on one evening of the event. You don’t have to have a Ducati to be at the party. This year will also see the introduction of a special area for the big-selling Scrambler model. Local accommodation is plentiful as the area is a beach resort.
