CAL CRUTCHLOW NO LONGER POINTLESS

Cal Crutchlow was once again left disappointed despite finally managing to get points on the board after finishing his first race of the 2016 season in 11th. Claiming afterwards that a dud tyre from Michelin had left him fighting vibrations, he was left unhappy at going backwards in the 27-lap race.

“I didn’t come here to finish 11th, and before the race I felt I could have battled with Pedrosa but we had something wrong with the rear tyre. That’s no excuse, but at the end of the day we needed to finish. Honda are working hard to give us a better bike though, and at least we can give them some information from a full race distance to hopefully help things.”
