Relph's top tips

To riding a big off road bike

Motorcycle News (UK) - - Adventure Special -

Don’t be scared of it. It may look daunting, but the bike will be your friend once you relax and ride it with confidence

Use your weight to counter-balance the weight of the bike, especially when turning on hillsides

When tackling obstacles use the brakes to load the suspension, releasing at the last minute so the spring rebound will help to lift the front end

When riding in mud and the front end tries to wash out, get your weight back and use the throttle to lighten the front end

If your bike does end up on the deck, dont be proud, get a friend to help lift it back-up riding with a bad back is no fun
