Hunt for the secretive Beast of Bodmin
Every region of the UK has its own beast stories and myths, but the one that seems to appear the most is the Beast of Bodmin Moor. Generally reckoned to resemble a big black cat, the beast stalks the moor eating sheep and other such livestock. While you probably won’t see the beast, Bodmin Moor is a fantastic place to explore and close to the equally exciting Dartmoor and Exmoor National Parks, which also have their own beast stories! There are loads of campsites on the Moors if you are brave enough, just remember to avoid packing any jingly bells or catnip.
