After 2500 miles on the OE Continental Contiattack SM tyres it was time for a change. A lot of motorway riding meant the rear was starting to square. As I use the Husky every day, some good-inall-weather tyres would have been the sensible choice, but the word ‘sensible’ isn’t in the supermoto dictionary so I went with a set of Metzeler Racetec RR K3s. They excelled instantly. I’d been worried I wouldn’t be able to get the tyres hot and keep them there, but a quick touch after my ride revealed they were more than up to temperature. The twisty route to work beckons.
