Q My mates want to do an enduro abroad, where can we learn?

Answered by Andy Davidson, MCN adventure expert If you need practice, it’s got to be the Dawn to Dusk, it’s one of the UK’S top enduro events. You don’t have to be a pro and can even compete as part of a team with your mates, relay style. There aren’t many events where complete novices can find themselves side by side (if only for a split second) with international stars. There’s a six, 12 and 24-hour event to choose from. If you’re heading abroad for a race, then an event like the Dawn to Dusk will prepare you for whatever anyone can throw at you, it’s tough stuff. In fact, you could use your European race to practise for the Dawn to Dusk. Good luck. It’s held in the Vale of Neath, South Wales from August 27-28 and entry prices start from £60. Visit www.dawntoduskenduro.com for more information.

It might look apocalyptic but it’s massive fun
