The British Grand Prix has produced some epic races over the 41 years since it made the move from the Isle of Man to the mainland Ð and itõs produced some heroes as well, as sometimes-unexpected riders put on heroic performances (often in the English rain).
But while these battles are often remembered for the men and personalities involved in them, equally important are the machinery that theyõre mounted on.
