Cal's singing in the rain
You can't beat a wet race for excitement and brave rides
A brilliant victory for Cal in the wet and exciting Brno Motogp (MCN, August 24). It’s the second time this season we have seen a wet track cause havoc amongst the Motogp paddock, so why then do the commentators make such a fuss about their concerns that the rain could spoil the show? In fact it is quite the opposite. A rainy day should not be thought of as a negative, but a positive, which enhances the experience of the fans. It adds spectacular diversity to the season because some of the top riders simply cannot ride in the wet!
Crutchlow was richly rewarded for his bold tyre choice at Brno
