Triumph 10-litre Wax Cotton tankbag £155

Motorcycle News (UK) - - MCN Garage -

Tester Ped Baker Time tested Two months/250 miles What’s good? This is a very classy piece of luggage. From the thick leather top flap to the wax cotton fabric around the sides it oozes style and quality. Stiffened sides and base retain the bags tank-hugging shape and a cutaway neatly fits around my Triumph Street Twin long-term test bike’s offset fuel cap (the bag also fits the 2016 T120 Bonneville range). At 10 litres it’s the perfect size for a day trip and will easily swallow the essentials plus waterproof overtrousers. The front securing strap boasts a magnet to stop it flying about on the tank when not in use and the two rear straps fold away under the seat. It will withstand light rain but an optional waterproof cover (£15) is available. What’s not? The plastic buckles and nylon securing straps are a bit ordinary so let the side down a little. Contact www.triumphmotorcycles.co.uk Quality rating ★★★★★ Value rating ★★★★
