■ Briggs Equipment BMW rider Jake Dixon left Oulton Park with hip injuries following a nasty crash at Britten’s chicane in Sunday’s final race. The incident brought an unfortunate end to what had been another strong weekend for Shane Byrne’s BSB protégé. ■ Ryuichi Kiyonari showed promise as he made his debut for the Smiths BMW team this weekend. A tenth place in the second race marked the three-time champion’s second best result of the season
■ Gearlink Kawasaki’s Mason Law took his debut British Supersport victory as the championship heated up in Saturday’s sprint race. Series leaders Tarran Mackenzie and James Westmoreland were equal on points before Sunday’s feature outing, which was won by Bradley Ray.
■ The Pirelli National Superstock 1000 race ended in drama when series leader Taylor Mackenzie pulled a controversial pass on Ian Hutchinson at the final corner resulting in both crashing out of first and second while Josh Elliott took the win. A hearing will take place at Donington this weekend.
