Decent kit works, believe me

Motorcycle News (UK) - - Comment -

I’ve read the arguments all summer about the proper kit. I was stationary when hit from behind at 36mph. As the consultant said: “I see two types of bikers. Those wearing the right kit in the fracture clinic and those that weren’t in A&E.” Yes I was hurt, but I’m alive, in one piece-ish and on the road to recovery. That’s down to the right kit. Now I’m looking forward to next year and getting back on a bike. By the way, don’t let the paramedics cut your Kevlar jeans off. It blunts their scissors and pisses them right off!
