Muc-off re-hydrating disc brake cleaner £9

Motorcycle News (UK) - - Garage -

Tester Liam Marsden Time used Six months What’s good? It makes mincemeat of brake dust and general road grime, bringing discs back up to a nice shine. The price isn’t too steep, and I’ve barely used any so far. Muc-off reckon the re-hydrating properties help eliminate brake squeal, but this isn’t something I’ve experienced. It’s also safe to use on carbon-fibre, so there’s no need to worry if you get some on your fancy lightweight parts.

What’s not? Very little. If you’ve neglected your brakes a little over winter and some of the edges have started to rust this won’t shift it, but then it doesn’t claim to be able to.
