LEE JOHNSTON SEEKING NEW MACHINES FOR 2017 SEASON
Lee Johnston’s East Coast Construction/burden’s BMW squad is winding up after three successful seasons racing with the Northern Irishman. The 27-year-old, who was a North West 200 and Ulster Grand Prix winner with the team, will now be looking for new machinery for 2017.
“We have had three great years and enjoyed a lot of success, so I am very grateful for all the help that the boss Phil Reed and my crew chief, Jamie Ferguson have given me,” Johnston, whose 2016 season was blighted by injury, told MCN.
“I have a few good offers on the table already for 2017 and I am looking forward to getting back into the mix.”
