What’s good? You’ve gotta love a dry bag. I ride in all weathers, all year, and have destroyed plenty of rucksack contents thanks to water ingress in the past. But use one of these as a liner, and it won’t matter how hard it rains. I use this 13-litre bag inside my Kriega R20, and as a pannier-liner when I’m going sans rucksack. It’s made from 210D Tarpaulin with a water-resistant inner layer, reinforced base, and welded seams all round. It’s proved durable in use, too. It’s often crammed with various junk, and has showed no signs of stretching or tearing – and because it’s a roll-top bag, when you’ve not got much in it, it will roll down to the smallest size possible. An invaluable addition to my bike kit. I’ve now stepped up to the three-bag set (4l, 8l, 13l, £22.99), and find the smaller bags useful for phone/camera/wallet etc, too.

What’s not? If you like subtle colours, you’re out of luck – it’s red or fluro yellow only, depending on which bag you buy. That aside, I can’t find anything to note against them.
