Paddock delights in Dovi’s success
While you could forgive Motogp racers for not cheering another rider’s victory, it’s testament to the esteem in which he’s held that there was such a positive response to Andrea Dovizioso’s win.
“I’m very happy for Ducati and Dovi. Finally, he’s arrived with the victory! I think he would have preferred to have won in dry conditions, but the important thing is that the win has arrived, and I’m happy for him and the team.”
“We have a good relationship, and he deserved the win. He works hard, and he’s very important for Ducati to improve the bike. We said he would be the ninth winner, and now, who knows – we might even have a 10th in Valencia!”
“He’s one of my best friends inside the paddock, and he’s always helped me and looked out for me. He lets me stay behind him to learn things, we train together, and I think I was the second happiest person apart from him!”
