Since bestowing nearly £2k worth of Yamaha’s Café Racer accessories on the XSR, the messy gap between the bars and headlight has started to wind me right up! I didn’t really like the look of the official Yamaha screens, but have seen much talk about Puig screens (www.puig.tv) on forums. They’re not cheap, but look smart. I wanted the Cockpit screen for the XSR, but the Spanish firm are a couple of weeks away from getting these on sale. So I went for the Front Board (£84.99). It’s well-made, sturdy and I got it in place within 10 minutes. It doesn’t really offer any wind protection, but that’s not why I got it. I got it to finish off the look and tidy the front end.
Andy’s No1. It says so on his Yamaha
