Class-lead­ing grip – fat con­tact patch, unique com­pound and new tread pat­tern gave enough grip to eas­ily ground out the pegs of the Har­leys and In­di­ans on test. Then again, most tyres can much do that.


Light­ened steer­ing/ im­proved han­dling – Bridge­stone say, de­spite large con­tact area, some­thing called ‘uni­form con­tact pres­sure’ means steer­ing is al­most 40% lighter than some ri­vals.


En­hanced tyre life/ride – less rigid side­walls give a more plush ride while Bridge­stone also claim vastly (up to 90%) im­proved tyre life, although we can’t yet vouch for the lat­ter.
