Q Is there a glove on the market that is designed for use with heated grips?

Motorcycle News (UK) - - Garage -

I’m after gloves that are thinner on the palm, but with extra insulation on the back of your hand. My hands are freezing if I use my sports gloves, but I hate true winter gloves due to their clumpy feel. John Hough, email

There are several gloves on the market which may work for you as they have twin chambers that give you the option of how much lining you have between you and your grips. The nature of all these is that the maximum feeling chamber is the thinner one you hold on with, so that you have a bit more on the back of your hand. The models that tick this box are all the Held Twin gloves, the BMW Two in One gloves and the Rukka R-star gloves. They are all Gore-tex lined, so totally waterproof. I have yet to see a budget version on the market from anyone, which is unusual. Don’t go for the Held Air ‘n’ Drys; they’re great gloves but one of the chambers is very well vented so you’ll freeze in the winter!
