Things are about to change around here
We have been bombarded with brilliant new bikes over the last few weeks and, we reckon, the final count for 2017 models is well over 100!
That’s an incredible amount of new metal. Some of these new arrivals are revamps to get bikes Euro4 compliant but many are ground-up new machines. Nonetheless it makes for a mouth-watering Motorcycle Live at the NEC and the Carole Nash MCN London Motorcycle Show at EXCEL in February.
And MCN has decided to get in on the act by offering something new too! From next week you will notice a whole host of changes to the paper as we try to offer even more of what you want.
There’s a new Riding section with cracking routes to explore and tips on how to improve your road and track craft and there’s a page dedicated to the best bike meeting places.
There is also a new section dedicated to buying and selling bikes. There’s great deals highlighted and advice on which bikes to buy right now.
We are also packing more bikes into the paper as we attempt to cover as many areas of the motorcycling world as possible. So there should always be something in the issue to appeal to you.
We are also adding many new elements which embrace biking’s most memorable moments, and we will be introducing a regular retro bikes feature too.
We will be suggesting more great events to attend and there will even be a quiz for you to get your head around every week.
We’ve spent the last few months talking to readers and creating stacks of material to see what works best. The ultimate test will come next week (November 23 issue) when you pick up the paper and decide whether it’s a winner or not. We look forward to hearing how you feel about the newlook MCN and we will be continuing to evolve and create more of the content you want every week. And you can get involved by sending us pictures of your rides, adventures and favourite meeting places. We want to see pictures of your first bike. Don’t miss next week’s issue.
