Mo­tor­cy­cle Live is back and it’s burst­ing with mo­tor­cy­cles, kit, celebri­ties, rid­ing fea­tures and live events that will make it quite pos­si­bly the best show yet!

New metal

This year’s Mo­tor­cy­cle Live has more man­u­fac­tur­ers ex­hibit­ing than ever be­fore, in fact, there are 43 brands rep­re­sented at the show, which makes for a whole lot of new metal. Be one of the first in the UK to see, touch and sit on the stun­ning new ma­chin­ery un­veiled at the Euro­pean shows.

There are also more than 100 other ex­hibitors and re­tail­ers show­cas­ing and sell­ing kit, parts and ac­ces­sories – it’s a great place to bag a bar­gain.

Rac­ers and VIPS

This is your chance to meet some of bik­ing’s big­gest names and top rac­ers, all in a re­laxed post-sea­son en­vi­ron­ment away from the pad­dock. Re­cently-crowned dou­ble World Su­per­bike cham­pion Jonathan Rea will be joined at the show by the likes of Fred­die Spencer, Eugene Laverty, Michael Dun­lop, John Mcguin­ness, Carl Fog­a­rty, Alex Lowes and many more – check the web­site be­fore your visit to see who will be there.

FMX Live , Hall 4

The awe­some FMX Live re­turns to Mo­tor­cy­cle Live and this year, the heart-in­y­our-mouth, edge-of-your-seat ac­tion is FREE to en­joy. Pre­sented by the own­ers of the Mon­ster En­ergy Are­nacross Tour, FMX Live will fea­ture some of the world’s most tal­ented freestyle mo­tocross rid­ers.

The su­per-skilled en­sem­ble will be putting on an in­tensely chore­ographed spec­ta­cle 40 feet in the air, packed with whips, back-flips and tricks that will take your breath away. The live show is sit­u­ated in the 2000-seat FMX Live arena in hall 4, cre­at­ing an elec­tri­fy­ing at­mos­phere com­plete with lights, lasers, LEDS and a heart-pump­ing sound­track.

EX­PE­RI­ENCE 2016! Ex

Ad­ven­ture pe­ri­ence Ad­ven­ture, sup­ported by Du­cati, Honda, KTM and Tri­umph, is a bike skills course de­signed to in­tro­duce rid­ers to their first taste of ad­ven­ture rid­ing. It in­cludes tu­ition on bike set-up, body po­si­tion­ing and bal­ance across a num­ber of test­ing ter­rains.

You can choose one of six stun­ning ad­ven­ture ma­chines from the line-up of man­u­fac­tur­ers – the Du­cati Mul­tistrada En­duro, Honda Africa Twin, Tri­umph Tiger 800 XCX Low, Tri­umph Tiger 800 XCA, KTM 1050 Ad­ven­ture and KTM 1290 Su­per Ad­ven­ture – and you’ll get kit­ted out with the lat­est pro­tec­tive kit pro­vided by Bell Hel­mets and cloth­ing dis­trib­u­tor Racefx.

Kawasaki Lee Bow­ers Stunt Dis­play, Hall 2

Kawasaki’s stunt rider ex­traor­di­naire Lee Bow­ers will be back by pop­u­lar de­mand after his trick­packed demos were voted ‘Best Man­u­fac­turer Ex­pe­ri­ence of 2015’ by show vis­i­tors. Lee’s reper­toire in­cludes drift­ing, wheel­ies, stop­pies and ac­ro­bat­ics and it’s one show you’ll not want to miss!

He will be per­form­ing three times a day at the week­ends and twice a day on week­days in his very own stunt arena. “I feel com­plete when I’m rid­ing my bike – it’s like the rest of the world stands still,” says Lee. “I like to bend the laws of physics, to change peo­ple’s per­cep­tions about what you can do on a mo­tor­bike – you only have to see my ac­ro­bat­ics act to know what I’m on about.”

Bri­tish Eurosport En­ter­tain­ment Zone fea­tur­ing the Black­horse Stage, Hall 3/3A

The Bri­tish Eurosport En­ter tain­ment Zone fea­tur­ing the Black Horse Stage will once again oc­cupy the heart of Mo­tor­cy­cle Live with hosts Steve Par­rish and James Whitham keep­ing the crowd en­ter­tained with non-stop games, quizzes, and chat shows.

Each day there will be a whole host of rid­ers and celebri­ties from Bri­tish Su­per­bikes, World Su­per­bikes, Mo­togp, speed­way and the Isle of Man TT ap­pear­ing on the stage in the ‘Ask Whitham’ slot, plus games such Dun­lop Stronger for Longer, the KTM Wheel Change Chal­lenge, the Ox­ford Prod­ucts Mem­ory Game and Eurosport Ques­tion of Bikes, with some great prizes up for grabs. New for 2016 is the MCN Road Test Cin­ema, run­ning from 4.30pm ev­ery day.

Cus­tom Xtreme – Sup­ported by Back Street He­roes Hall 4

The Cus­tom Xtreme Zone sup­ported by Back Street He­roes proudly dis­plays a vast ar­ray of chop­pers, bob­bers, street­fight­ers, trikes, café rac­ers, street scram­blers, flat track­ers, brats and rats from some of Bri­tain’s best bike builders.

Vis­i­tors will be able to see the eye­catch­ing cre­ations that months of blood, sweat and tears have pro­duced in the Back Street He­roes Cus­tom Bike Build­ing Cham­pi­onship. The win­ning bikes from the Chop­per, Cus­tom, New School Cus­tom, Best Paint and Best Street­fighter / En­gi­neer­ing cat­e­gories will be on show. Don’t miss the tro­phy pre­sen­ta­tion on Mon­day, Novem­ber 21 at 11am.

The Nick San­ders Story, Hall 4

Charis­matic long-dis­tance r i de r Ni c k San­ders will make a wel­come re­turn to the show to launch his lat­est film, ‘The Ex­tra­or­di­nary Life of an Or­di­nary Man.’ Nick will be on hand ev­ery day to share ex­tra­or­di­nary sto­ries of his trav­els, of­fer his own unique brand of ad­vice and pro­vide in­spi­ra­tion on your next tour­ing ad­ven­ture, and of course his books and DVDS will be avail­able to buy.

Clas­sic Fea­ture – Sup­ported by The Na­tional Mo­tor­cy­cle Mu­seum, Hall 4

The Clas­sic Fea­ture, sup­ported by The Na­tional Mo­tor­cy­cle Mu­seum, demon­strates Bri­tain’s proud his­tory of mo­tor­cy­cle pro­duc­tion and charts the de­vel­op­ment of the home­grown mo­tor­cy­cle in­dus­try through the ages.

An im­pres­sive dis­play of iconic ma­chin­ery from the late 1800s all the way through to re­cent times will be en­hanced by var­i­ous live and in­ter­ac­tive visi­tor ex­pe­ri­ences, in­clud­ing the live restora­tion of a 1967 Ve­lo­cette Thrux­ton 500cc and twice-daily start-ups of two cov­eted Isle of Man Tt-win­ning ma­chines – the 1969 Thrux­ton Bon­neville 649cc and the 1970 Tri­umph Works 750cc Pro­duc­tion Racer No.2 ‘Slip­pery Sam.’

Two Wheel Taster with Get On, Hall 4

The in­dus­try-backed Get On cam­paign is of­fer­ing FREE 20-minute taster ses­sions on a 125cc scooter or mo­tor­cy­cle in a pri­vate, in­door area with ex­pert tu­ition from fully trained in­struc­tors. Thou­sands of vis­i­tors have taken ad­van­tage of the Get On fea­ture in the last few years, with many of them get­ting the bik­ing bug and go­ing on to gain their full mo­tor­cy­cle li­cence.

Test Ride Zone, Hall 3A

The Test Ride Zone re­turns to Mo­tor­cy­cle Live thanks to Shoei, Sidi and Spada and a great line up of bikes from the lead­ing man­u­fac­tur­ers for you to ride out on the open road.

Along with a FREE ride, all Shoei, Sidi and Spada safety equip­ment is pro­vided by an ex­pe­ri­enced prod­uct tech­ni­cian, so if you’ve trav­elled to the show by train or car, you’re still able to ride. You’ll get a full brief­ing be­fore you pick up your bike and take to the roads ac­com­pa­nied by out-rid­ers. You’ll get a real feel for your cho­sen bike and then get the chance to wan­der to the man­u­fac­turer’s stand for any ques­tions you may have.

ACU Try Tri­als, Hall 2

The ACU’S Try Tri­als fea­ture, in con­junc­tion with BUMPY (Birstall Ur­ban Mo­tor­cy­cle Project for Youth) is of­fer­ing you the chance to try out the im­pres­sive sport of tri­als in a FREE 15-minute taster ses­sion. Par­tic­i­pants will re­ceive di­rec­tion and guid­ance from an Acu-cer­ti­fied in­struc­tor to get to grips with the ba­sics of this highly-skilled dis­ci­pline. Tri­als rid­ing demon­stra­tions by the ACU coaches will also take place daily.

Ku­berg MX Ex­pe­ri­ence pre­sented by MCF, Hall 4

Ku­berg will be of fer­ing rid­ers of any age the chance to ex­pe­ri­ence first hand the thrill of mo­tocross. Kids, teenagers and adults alike can have a go around the off-road track and learn to ride Ku­berg’s feisty and pow­er­ful ma­chines from ex­pe­ri­enced in­struc­tors in a safe en­vi­ron­ment.

Vis­i­tors can try the new and amaz­ingly ag­ile Free-rider, de­signed with teenagers and young adults in mind,

as well as the rest of Ku­berg’s range of dy­namic thrill ma­chines: the Start (2-5 years), Trial E (5-8 years) and Cross (5-8 years). Also on show will be brand new pro­to­types for adren­a­line junkies: the Trex, Chal­lenger, and an­other ex­cit­ing sur­prise.

Kid­di­moto Chil­dren’s Fun Track, Hall 2

The Kid­di­moto Chil­dren’s Fun Track pro­vides young­sters be­tween the ages of two and 12 the chance to have a go on a Kid­di­moto bal­ance bike around a safe, in­flat­able track. There’s no need to book – just turn up to the fea­ture in Hall 2 and your lit­tle one will be rac­ing around in no time!

An ex­pe­ri­enced in­struc­tor will give chil­dren ba­sic guid­ance on how to safely use the track and the bike and if the young­sters are a lit­tle re­served in try­ing this alone then par­ents are wel­come to hop in and guide their bud­ding biker around.

Yamaha Dark Side MT Tour, Hall 4

The pop­u­lar Yamaha ‘Dark Side MT Tour’ makes its fi­nal stop of the sea­son at Mo­tor­cy­cle Live, with the gi­ant truck tak­ing cen­tre stage for the MT Tour dis­play with its Dark Side brand­ing and col­lec­tion of MT cloth­ing and ac­ces­sories, plus ac­ces­sorised MT Tour bikes.

A fleet of MT demo ma­chines in­clud­ing the out­ra­geous MT-10, plus the up­dated MT-09 and the award win­ning MT-07 will all be avail­able for rid­ers to en­joy in es­corted test rides us­ing lo­cal roads around the NEC.

BMW GS Ex­pe­ri­ence, Hall 3

The BMW GS Ex­pe­ri­ence adds a touch of ad­ven­ture and ex­cite­ment to Mo­tor­cy­cle Live, giv­ing you the chance to learn and try some of the han­dling tech­niques taught at Si­mon Pavey’s world-fa­mous BMW Off Road Skills school us­ing BMW GS mo­tor­cy­cles.

Isle of Man TT fea­ture , Hall 3A

The Isle of Man TT fea­ture makes a re­turn to the show after be­ing voted ‘Best Non-man­u­fac­turer Stand’ in 2015. The area is home to all the lead­ing TT rid­ers, with fan meet-and-greets and sign­ing ses­sions tak­ing place ev­ery day. Vis­i­tors also have the chance to watch an on-board lap of the TT Moun­tain Course on a big screen.

In­dian Mo­tor­cy­cle Project Scout, Hall 3a

In­dian Mo­tor­cy­cle UK will be show­cas­ing the re­sults of ‘Project Scout’ on its stand for the du­ra­tion of the show. Its deal­ers have been com­pet­ing over the past 90 days, us­ing their pas­sion and know-how to cre­ate an In­dian Scout cus­tom to be dis­played at the show. Now it’s your chance to get in­volved and vote for your favourite – the win­ner will be an­nounced on Sun­day, Novem­ber 27.

Har­ley-david­son Jump­start, Hall 3a

The pop­u­lar Har­leyDavid­son Jump­start re­turns, giv­ing non-rid­ers, or even bik­ers who’ve never ex­pe­ri­enced a Har­ley, the chance to get to grips with one of the ma­chines on a rolling road in­clud­ing ac­cel­er­a­tion, clutch con­trol and gear changes.
