Motorcycle Live is back and it’s bursting with motorcycles, kit, celebrities, riding features and live events that will make it quite possibly the best show yet!
This year’s Motorcycle Live has more manufacturers exhibiting than ever before, in fact, there are 43 brands represented at the show, which makes for a whole lot of new metal. Be one of the first in the UK to see, touch and sit on the stunning new machinery unveiled at the European shows.
There are also more than 100 other exhibitors and retailers showcasing and selling kit, parts and accessories – it’s a great place to bag a bargain.
Racers and VIPS
This is your chance to meet some of biking’s biggest names and top racers, all in a relaxed post-season environment away from the paddock. Recently-crowned double World Superbike champion Jonathan Rea will be joined at the show by the likes of Freddie Spencer, Eugene Laverty, Michael Dunlop, John Mcguinness, Carl Fogarty, Alex Lowes and many more – check the website before your visit to see who will be there.
FMX Live , Hall 4
The awesome FMX Live returns to Motorcycle Live and this year, the heart-inyour-mouth, edge-of-your-seat action is FREE to enjoy. Presented by the owners of the Monster Energy Arenacross Tour, FMX Live will feature some of the world’s most talented freestyle motocross riders.
The super-skilled ensemble will be putting on an intensely choreographed spectacle 40 feet in the air, packed with whips, back-flips and tricks that will take your breath away. The live show is situated in the 2000-seat FMX Live arena in hall 4, creating an electrifying atmosphere complete with lights, lasers, LEDS and a heart-pumping soundtrack.
Experience Adventure , Hall 2
EXPERIENCE 2016! Ex
Adventure perience Adventure, supported by Ducati, Honda, KTM and Triumph, is a bike skills course designed to introduce riders to their first taste of adventure riding. It includes tuition on bike set-up, body positioning and balance across a number of testing terrains.
You can choose one of six stunning adventure machines from the line-up of manufacturers – the Ducati Multistrada Enduro, Honda Africa Twin, Triumph Tiger 800 XCX Low, Triumph Tiger 800 XCA, KTM 1050 Adventure and KTM 1290 Super Adventure – and you’ll get kitted out with the latest protective kit provided by Bell Helmets and clothing distributor Racefx.
Kawasaki Lee Bowers Stunt Display, Hall 2
Kawasaki’s stunt rider extraordinaire Lee Bowers will be back by popular demand after his trickpacked demos were voted ‘Best Manufacturer Experience of 2015’ by show visitors. Lee’s repertoire includes drifting, wheelies, stoppies and acrobatics and it’s one show you’ll not want to miss!
He will be performing three times a day at the weekends and twice a day on weekdays in his very own stunt arena. “I feel complete when I’m riding my bike – it’s like the rest of the world stands still,” says Lee. “I like to bend the laws of physics, to change people’s perceptions about what you can do on a motorbike – you only have to see my acrobatics act to know what I’m on about.”
British Eurosport Entertainment Zone featuring the Blackhorse Stage, Hall 3/3A
The British Eurosport Enter tainment Zone featuring the Black Horse Stage will once again occupy the heart of Motorcycle Live with hosts Steve Parrish and James Whitham keeping the crowd entertained with non-stop games, quizzes, and chat shows.
Each day there will be a whole host of riders and celebrities from British Superbikes, World Superbikes, Motogp, speedway and the Isle of Man TT appearing on the stage in the ‘Ask Whitham’ slot, plus games such Dunlop Stronger for Longer, the KTM Wheel Change Challenge, the Oxford Products Memory Game and Eurosport Question of Bikes, with some great prizes up for grabs. New for 2016 is the MCN Road Test Cinema, running from 4.30pm every day.
Custom Xtreme – Supported by Back Street Heroes Hall 4
The Custom Xtreme Zone supported by Back Street Heroes proudly displays a vast array of choppers, bobbers, streetfighters, trikes, café racers, street scramblers, flat trackers, brats and rats from some of Britain’s best bike builders.
Visitors will be able to see the eyecatching creations that months of blood, sweat and tears have produced in the Back Street Heroes Custom Bike Building Championship. The winning bikes from the Chopper, Custom, New School Custom, Best Paint and Best Streetfighter / Engineering categories will be on show. Don’t miss the trophy presentation on Monday, November 21 at 11am.
The Nick Sanders Story, Hall 4
Charismatic long-distance r i de r Ni c k Sanders will make a welcome return to the show to launch his latest film, ‘The Extraordinary Life of an Ordinary Man.’ Nick will be on hand every day to share extraordinary stories of his travels, offer his own unique brand of advice and provide inspiration on your next touring adventure, and of course his books and DVDS will be available to buy.
Classic Feature – Supported by The National Motorcycle Museum, Hall 4
The Classic Feature, supported by The National Motorcycle Museum, demonstrates Britain’s proud history of motorcycle production and charts the development of the homegrown motorcycle industry through the ages.
An impressive display of iconic machinery from the late 1800s all the way through to recent times will be enhanced by various live and interactive visitor experiences, including the live restoration of a 1967 Velocette Thruxton 500cc and twice-daily start-ups of two coveted Isle of Man Tt-winning machines – the 1969 Thruxton Bonneville 649cc and the 1970 Triumph Works 750cc Production Racer No.2 ‘Slippery Sam.’
Two Wheel Taster with Get On, Hall 4
The industry-backed Get On campaign is offering FREE 20-minute taster sessions on a 125cc scooter or motorcycle in a private, indoor area with expert tuition from fully trained instructors. Thousands of visitors have taken advantage of the Get On feature in the last few years, with many of them getting the biking bug and going on to gain their full motorcycle licence.

Test Ride Zone, Hall 3A
The Test Ride Zone returns to Motorcycle Live thanks to Shoei, Sidi and Spada and a great line up of bikes from the leading manufacturers for you to ride out on the open road.
Along with a FREE ride, all Shoei, Sidi and Spada safety equipment is provided by an experienced product technician, so if you’ve travelled to the show by train or car, you’re still able to ride. You’ll get a full briefing before you pick up your bike and take to the roads accompanied by out-riders. You’ll get a real feel for your chosen bike and then get the chance to wander to the manufacturer’s stand for any questions you may have.
ACU Try Trials, Hall 2
The ACU’S Try Trials feature, in conjunction with BUMPY (Birstall Urban Motorcycle Project for Youth) is offering you the chance to try out the impressive sport of trials in a FREE 15-minute taster session. Participants will receive direction and guidance from an Acu-certified instructor to get to grips with the basics of this highly-skilled discipline. Trials riding demonstrations by the ACU coaches will also take place daily.
Kuberg MX Experience presented by MCF, Hall 4
Kuberg will be of fering riders of any age the chance to experience first hand the thrill of motocross. Kids, teenagers and adults alike can have a go around the off-road track and learn to ride Kuberg’s feisty and powerful machines from experienced instructors in a safe environment.
Visitors can try the new and amazingly agile Free-rider, designed with teenagers and young adults in mind,
as well as the rest of Kuberg’s range of dynamic thrill machines: the Start (2-5 years), Trial E (5-8 years) and Cross (5-8 years). Also on show will be brand new prototypes for adrenaline junkies: the Trex, Challenger, and another exciting surprise.
Kiddimoto Children’s Fun Track, Hall 2
The Kiddimoto Children’s Fun Track provides youngsters between the ages of two and 12 the chance to have a go on a Kiddimoto balance bike around a safe, inflatable track. There’s no need to book – just turn up to the feature in Hall 2 and your little one will be racing around in no time!
An experienced instructor will give children basic guidance on how to safely use the track and the bike and if the youngsters are a little reserved in trying this alone then parents are welcome to hop in and guide their budding biker around.
Yamaha Dark Side MT Tour, Hall 4
The popular Yamaha ‘Dark Side MT Tour’ makes its final stop of the season at Motorcycle Live, with the giant truck taking centre stage for the MT Tour display with its Dark Side branding and collection of MT clothing and accessories, plus accessorised MT Tour bikes.
A fleet of MT demo machines including the outrageous MT-10, plus the updated MT-09 and the award winning MT-07 will all be available for riders to enjoy in escorted test rides using local roads around the NEC.
BMW GS Experience, Hall 3
The BMW GS Experience adds a touch of adventure and excitement to Motorcycle Live, giving you the chance to learn and try some of the handling techniques taught at Simon Pavey’s world-famous BMW Off Road Skills school using BMW GS motorcycles.
Isle of Man TT feature , Hall 3A
The Isle of Man TT feature makes a return to the show after being voted ‘Best Non-manufacturer Stand’ in 2015. The area is home to all the leading TT riders, with fan meet-and-greets and signing sessions taking place every day. Visitors also have the chance to watch an on-board lap of the TT Mountain Course on a big screen.
Indian Motorcycle Project Scout, Hall 3a
Indian Motorcycle UK will be showcasing the results of ‘Project Scout’ on its stand for the duration of the show. Its dealers have been competing over the past 90 days, using their passion and know-how to create an Indian Scout custom to be displayed at the show. Now it’s your chance to get involved and vote for your favourite – the winner will be announced on Sunday, November 27.
Harley-davidson Jumpstart, Hall 3a
The popular HarleyDavidson Jumpstart returns, giving non-riders, or even bikers who’ve never experienced a Harley, the chance to get to grips with one of the machines on a rolling road including acceleration, clutch control and gear changes.
