VFR’S my best friend

Motorcycle News (UK) - - Comment -

Couldn’t agree more with Geoff Brown’s comments on the VFR. It’s a superb bike, and has the typical Honda attributes of working impeccably in all circumstances and conditions. I’ve always had sportsbikes, from RD500S to Fireblades and everything in between over 30 years. It took a while to love the VFR but it’s now like my best friend. I love it to bits and for once I don’t plan on rushing out and buying anything else. On another note, I’ve been riding push bikes for years and hate being vilified for obstructive riding and causing litter etc. I ride in a club and we always revert to riding in line when a car or bike is behind. I agree that this doesn’t happen in some groups, but that annoys us as much as anyone. It has to be said that the bloke on an S1000R wheelying in the opposite direction at 90mph is also annoying. We all share the road and all sides should show more consideration.
