SUTER SWITCH IMPROVES KENT’S PACE AT JEREZ

Motorcycle News (UK) - - Sport -

While the Motogp field were in action at Valencia, a number of Moto2 and Moto3 teams headed to Jerez for their first outing of the 2017 season, including Brit Danny Kent getting his first run out on the new Suter chassis that he hopes will re-ignite his career next year.

Struggling throughout the 2016 season to come to grips with the Kalex, a situation not aided by a difficult year in the team that eventually saw him split with long-term crew chief Peter Bom ahead of Valencia, the change to Swiss machinery looks to be paying off for the former world champion, who finished the two-day test in fourth place, only 0.3s off fastest man Takaaki Nakagami.
