WEBSTER’S WORLD TITLE BID HILLABY IN THE HOT SEAT

Motorcycle News (UK) - - This Week -

Peter Hillaby rose to the top of the roads racing game by taking the chairmanõs seat at the TT. He is still involved in racing and runs Oliverõs Mount and the Auto 66 club. He won MCNÕS Lifetime Achievement Award in 2014. Steve Webster had not won a world title at the end of the 1986 season and a switch to Krauser looked likely to help him do just that. In the end, Webster campaigned the Lcr-yamaha (Krauser) and took the 1987 crown. He would go on to take 10 world titles during a dominant run of results.
