REDDING NEEDS A REST
Scott Redding admitted that he’s desperate for some rest following a frantic end to the season and two tough tests.
Coming almost direct from Motogp’s three-week flyaway trip to Asia into the final round at Valencia followed by a pair of tests, he admitted after two days on track at Jerez, he couldn’t wait for some down-time during the twomonth winter testing ban.
“I want to go home and relax. It was a long season, and now that it’s done I can do that. We tried some things on the final day of the test, but it felt like I hit a wall. I couldn’t hit the lap time, and I ended up just too physically tired for it.
“I’m just going to head home and do nothing. Eat what I want, sleep on the sofa for a bit. I don’t want to stop training entirely, but I don’t want to be training as hard as usual either. There was a lot of pressure at the end of the year, and now my body knows that it’s over it just wants to rest.”
