Champion Binder breaks arm
Moto3 world champion Brad Binder has had a difficult start to his campaign in the middleweight class on KTM’S new Moto2 machine, after a crash at Valencia left him with a broken arm.
Crashing at the end of the first day of a two-day planned test, Binder was unlucky to get tangled with his machine as he fell, both breaking and dislocating his arm.
Motogp’s resident orthopaedic specialist Dr Xavier Mir operated in Barcelona the following day, and he’s confident that Binder will make a full recovery. He should be back to full fitness in five to six weeks and it should not affect his test schedule.
