Guy needs to turn off TV work and win a TT
He should park the pedal-powered pranks and race again
Obviously it was great to see Guy Martin back on two wheels at the Burt Munro Challenge (MCN, November 30) and the beach racing looked particularly impressive (shame about the weather putting a dampener on things). But what I, and many thousands of others, really want to see is the great man back in action on the Isle of Man. If he leaves it too long and spends too long messing about with pedal-powered blimps, hydrofoil pedalos and the like, it will be too late for him to secure the ride he needs to take him to the top of the TT podium. If Guy doesn’t get serious soon, we’ll all be left wondering what might have been. Rob Allen, email
Isn’t it time Guy got back to business on the Mountain course?
