STARS LINE UP FOR LONDON SHOW 2017
See John Mcguinness, Troy Corser, Neil Hodgson and Chris Walker serve up a Slide show spectacular
Slide, the fast-paced, handlebar-bashing, celebrity-packed race series at the Carole Nash MCN London Motorcycle Show is back for 2017 with an impressive line-up of star riders including WSB superstar Troy Corser.
From winning the AMA Superbike title in 1994 to his ill-fated stint aboard the Foggy Petronas FP1, before regaining his WSB title with Suzuki in 2005, Troy is one of the most charismatic and talented riders of his generation.
Troy will captain the Australian team as he takes on the formidable UK squad of John Mcguinness, Neil Hodgson and Chris Walker around the Michelin live action arena.
Huge classic auction
Coys of Kensington will be bringing a once-in-lifetime collection of classic and historic machines to be auctioned live at the show. The machines originate from the estate of Kent dealer J A Hitchcock & Sons and this is the first time any of the bikes have come up for auction. From a 2001 ex-james Toseland Ducati 999 to a 1927 Brough Superior 680 many of the machines are historically important. One of the most interesting bikes is a 1967 360cc Husqvarna ISDT bike ridden by stunt man and off-road legend Bud Ekins.
The Auction will take place on February 18 inside the main hall and further entries are invited. www.coys.co.uk
Bag some bargain kit
The 2017 London show is bigger than ever with more floor space, more bikes and more trade stands selling the latest riding kit and last season’s bargains. It is the ideal place to kit yourself out for the year ahead. www.mcnmotorcycleshow.com
