FANCY A CHINESE?
Awesome deals from WK make a new bike more affordable than ever
Far Eastern manufacturer Cfmoto have discounted the price on some of their already bargainpriced bikes, meaning you can now have a new model for the price of a 10-yearold Japanese equivalent. Branded under the name of UK importer WK Bikes, thousands of pounds have been slashed from the RRP of the 650TR touring bike, the 650i naked and the learner-legal ZS125 roadster to clear stock ahead of the arrival of a fresh batch of Euro4 compliant machines in early 2017. WK dealers in the UK are now selling the Chinese brand’s flagship touring bike – the 650TR – for as little as £2999, a saving of £2200 on the original RRP and one that puts it in the same price bracket as a used, 10-year-old Honda NT700V Deauville.
The 69bhp parallel-twin tourer boasts a stylish fairing and 60 litres of luggage carrying capacity in its hard, waterproof, lockable panniers. It also comes with two glovebox compartments and a 12v power point, an adjustable screen and KYB suspension. The 649cc parallel-twin engine is a very similar design to the motor inside Kawasaki’s ER6, and features Magneti Marelli fuel injection with 69bhp and 45.72ftlb of torque.
All WK bikes are supported by a dedicated UK importer, so there’s full spares back up, as well as a two-year parts and labour warranty. Currently there isn’t much in the way of factoryfit accessories, but other than a pair of heated grips, the 650TR is so well spec’d that you wouldn’t want for much extra anyway.
Availability is limited with only a few 650TRS currently left in UK dealers, so you’ll have to be quick if you want to bag a bargain. A list of dealerships can be found at www.wkbikes.com
