Tester Alison Silcox Time tested Five months/2800 miles What’s good? I hate satnav and always prefer a map or handwritten route when travelling, so I needed to find a solution for a recent trip to France. The Harley-davidson I’m testing this year doesn’t lend itself to a bulky tankbag so this was ideal. It has a large clear pocket that’s actually designed to carry a new-fangled tablet but also fits an A4 piece of paper perfectly, ideal for that all-important list of directions. The magnets are strong so they stay in place, and the pocket didn’t move an inch (it does also come with fitments for non-metallic tanks). The zips are sturdy and with the clear cover in place there were no leaks. This is not just a map/ tablet pocket, there’s also a very slim compartment where I could keep my passport, credit card and phone to hand. What’s not? It’s a bit pricey for what it is but was well worth it for making sure I got where I needed to go! Contact Quality rating ★★★★★ Value rating ★★★★ ★
