Gus was a speedway star

Motorcycle News (UK) - - THIS WEEK -

In the latest issue you mention Gus Kuhn Motorcycles in Clapham. I bought the first Suzuki GS850 that the shop had ever sold and remember Vincent Davey well. He was a good guy and I bought a few bikes off him, a Norton Commando frame and many parts. Vincent was Gus Kuhn’s son-in-law and that’s how he came to run the shop after Gus passed away in 1966. You say that Gus was a trials rider, in fact he was a really good professional Speedway rider and rode for Stamford Bridge and also had five years with Wimbledon. He also rode at the TT.
