Honda CB1100 EX
88.5bhp | 255kg | Seat height 790mm
The EX gets a raft of minor updates Front and rear lights are now LED and the new 18in wheels run stainless steel spokes, and roll under a new 41mm Showa Dual Bending Valve fork and matched dual Showa rear shocks. The engine gets the same improvements as the RS, with revised inlets and smaller, lighter dual mufflers – and the assist slipper clutch. The geometry is slightly more relaxed than the RS, the seat is a marginal 5mm lower at 790mm, and the weight has increased three kilos to 255kg.
189bhp | 196kg | Seat height 832mm
CF Moto’s new 650MT is aimed squarely at the touring market. Built around a new tubular steel frame and swingarm, the MT has a watercooled 650cc parallel-twin – which is Euro 4 compliant and claimed to push out a peak of 71bhp at 8750rpm. The seat height is adjustable between 820mm and 840mm and the front and rear suspension are fully adjustable. And it comes at a very competitive price.
