Kiyonari leaves Britain behind
Three-time British Superbike Champion Ryuichi Kiyonari has announced he will leave the MCE BSB series and return to Japan for the 2017 season. Kiyonari has had two dismal years since breaking his collarbone while fighting for the 2014 title with Shane Byrne. He’ll instead race for the Moriwaki Honda team in the All Japan Road Racing series as well as competing at the prestigious Suzuka Eight Hour. Also leaving the series is twice British Supersport Champion Stuart Easton, who announced his retirement from racing over the festive period.
