937cc liquid-cooled Testastretta L-twin ABS and Ducati Traction Control Fully adjustable suspension

This is the smaller-capacity Multistrada which combines the lovely L-twin, style and smooth handling.

Up front it wears a versatile 19in light alloy front wheel that will work with pure road tyres on tarmac, or can offer a bit more flexibility on and off road with dual-purpose rubber fitted. The engine is the 937cc Testastretta, and delivers a claimed 113bhp at 9000rpm and 70.95ftlb torque at 7750rpm.

There are four riding modes and the new Multi also gets the Ducati Safety Pack, which includes the latest Bosch 9.1 MP ABS with three-level adjustment and eightlevel Ducati Traction Control. The fork is a 48mm inverted unit, with adjustable spring pre-load and hydraulic compression and rebound damping. At the rear, a Sachs shock connects the swingarm to the left sub-frame: again, spring preload is adjustable, as is compression and rebound.

It uses Brembo M4.32 monobloc radial calipers and dual 320 mm discs up front, matched to a 265mm disc and floating Brembo caliper at the rear – all ABS enabled.
